For runners who want a personalised plan and accountability.
Losing weight through running works best when your training is structured, consistent and built around your actual life, not a generic template pulled from the internet. Bronze coaching gives you exactly that: a plan shaped around your current fitness, your schedule and your goal, with enough support to keep you on track without paying for extras you don’t need.
What’s included
Initial assessment. Before any training plan is written, you complete a short assessment covering your running background, current fitness level, weight-loss goal, weekly schedule and running experience. This is what the whole plan is built on, so it’s thorough but quick to complete.
Personalised training plan. Your plan is built around your current ability and the time you realistically have available each week, not an idealised version of your schedule. If you can train three days a week, that’s what the plan reflects. No unnecessary mileage, no sessions that don’t serve your goal.
Weekly check-in. Every week, you check in on how training went: how the sessions felt, whether you completed them, and anything that came up that affected your training (illness, travel, low energy, life getting in the way). This keeps you accountable and gives your coach the information needed to adjust things properly.
Training adjustments. Your plan isn’t static. As you get fitter, hit setbacks, or your circumstances change, your training is adjusted accordingly. Progress isn’t always a straight line, and the plan is built to flex with that rather than ignore it.
Running guidance. You’ll get guidance on the fundamentals that actually move the needle: pacing, effort levels, recovery, and how to structure your week so training supports weight loss instead of working against it (overtraining and under-recovering are common reasons progress stalls).
Basic nutrition guidance. Running alone rarely delivers sustainable weight loss without some attention to nutrition. Bronze includes basic guidance on eating in a way that supports both your training and your weight-loss goal, without extreme restriction or generic calorie targets that ignore your training load.
Ongoing coaching support. Throughout your coaching, you have a point of contact for questions about your plan, your progress or how you’re feeling. Coaching works best when it’s a back-and-forth process, not a plan handed over and forgotten.
Built around real life
You have a job, commitments and a life outside running. Bronze coaching is designed for that reality. It’s for people who want to make meaningful progress towards weight loss and better running without training like an athlete or reorganising their week around it.
This isn’t about guaranteed results or quick fixes. It’s about training consistently, understanding your effort, recovering properly and adjusting along the way, the same principles that underpin any real progress in running.
Is Bronze for you?
Bronze coaching suits you if you want a clear training plan, you want accountability, you’re trying to lose weight through running, and you’re willing to put in the work. It’s not for you if you’re looking for a generic plan with no adjustment, guaranteed results, or a quick fix.
If you want more hands-on support, including a monthly 1:1 coaching call, detailed session feedback and race preparation, take a look at the Silver or Gold tiers.
Getting started is simple. Once you subscribe, you’ll receive your initial assessment within 24 hours, and your first training plan shortly after that, built specifically around what you tell me. From there, coaching runs on a monthly rolling basis with no long-term contract, so you can pause or cancel whenever it no longer suits you. There’s no pressure to commit beyond what actually works for your goals and your life right now.
